Our Values and Approach to Emotional Intelligence
We recognise that many organisations tend to encourage and support
academic and technical learning and to discourage the expression
of emotions. We acknowledge that people can be wary of exploring
emotions. We believe that safely supporting people to understand,
manage and develop their emotional responses rather than dismiss
or hide from them inspires long term growth for individuals and
organisations. One to one confidential and skilled coaching provides
a private and safe space for the client to explore and honestly
focus on key development areas.
We recognise that people and organisations use many skills, experiences
and learning in their work to achieve top performance. We constantly
look to integrate Emotional Intelligence into the broader context
by helping individuals understand the power of Emotional Intelligence
and how it can be used to increase overall effectiveness.
Sustainable development requires continuous learning, insight,
perseverance and practise. There are no instant solutions. Our programmes
are purposefully structured over a realistic time span. This means
that clients have sufficient time to explore, understand, develop
new strategies and implement their learning in their specific work
and personal environments. Throughout this process the coach supports,
stretches and challenges the client to maximise their potential.
